On the other hand, long-term dissertations and internships in genomics offer students the chance to undertake extended research endeavors, often spanning a semesters, three-six months or year and more. These immersive experiences allow students to tackle complex genomic challenges, such as understanding the genetic basis of diseases, exploring biodiversity through genomic analyses, or developing novel applications of genomics in agriculture or biotechnology.
